This book is all about cursed karma i.e. sinful karma of the native in past life, the root cause of sufferings in current birth era. Sufferings comes in many ways like childlessness the most famous one for curses, chronic disease, spouseless, huge indebtedness, early widowhood etc. etc. This book first diagnosed the sufferings and thru that try to record the karma of prenatal adobe with the help of multiple tools - acumen available in our Vedic astrology. The Book Cursed Karma of Past Life in Vedic Jyotisha is a book deciphering the cursed karma of the native for which he has to suffer in this current birth era. In the first chapter what is karma and its definition is given, then definition and source of curse is given in ch.02. Then prenatal adobe is described in detail. Astrological mapping of curse-karma  and curse yoga is given in unique manner. How navamsha can be used to determined the prenatal karam is elaborated. Attributes of signs, house etc is given with higher division scheme. The most importantly method to prognosticate the cursed karma of past life is given and how it is seen with dasa and gochar is also given.  Most afflicted nakstra amsha method is adopted to determine the curse karma. Vimsottari, Kalachakra and Chara dasa analysis is elaborated.  The method instances are given for few constellations. The book is unique as it gives the clue of past life cursed karma thru Vedic Jyotisha and this is the beginning and more to come from hora. The book is full of sanskrit sholka and least room for editing is there and readers will take it in its true prospective. Past life karma is very private thing and can be tested prudently and with expertise.     

Shukla Yajurveda Mantra blessings to purify our character and karma

व्वाचन्तेशुन्धामिप्प्राणन्तेशुन्धामिचक्षुस्तेशुन्धामिश्र्श्रोत्रन्तेशुन्धामिनाभिन्तेशुन्धामिमेड्ढ्रन्तेशुन्धामि पायुन्तेशुन्धामिचरित्रांस्तेशुन्धामि॥ मं-१४ अ-६॥

vvācanteśundhāmipprāṇanteśundhāmicakṣusteśundhāmiśrśrotranteśundhāminābhinteśundhāmimeḍḍhranteśundhāmipāyunteśundhāmicaritrāṁsteśundhāmi || maṁ-14 a-6||     

We are not taking material object meaning [पादार्थिक अर्थ] of this Mantra. ‘प्प्राणन्तेशुन्धामि’ means to pure our breath or fresh air but its literature meaning is for purifying the soul. ‘व्वाचन्तेशुन्धामि’ means not to purify tounge but to purify our speech by speaking sweet, speaking truth, speaking carefully. ‘चक्षुस्तेशुन्धामि’ menas not to wash-purify eyes but to be vigilant and foresightedness etc. so on and so forth.    

व्वाचन्तेशुन्धामि…vvācanteśundhāmi means to make pure our speech. By this phrase, Veda says whatever you speak should be pure means should have a weight.  Best meaning is to enchant the Devi-Deva mantras before sleep and gain when we wake up in the morning.  We always should speak truth is the way in which we can purify our speech. We should never use satire, bad, fraudulent and vulgar speech instead; we should sweetly speak truth ‘सत्यं वद मधुरं वद’.  The massage is ‘speak sweet, speak truth and be careful when speaking’. 

‘प्प्राणन्तेशुन्धामि... pprāṇanteśundhāmi’ is to make pure our soul heart. We sometimes find people very good sweet speaker but are real culprit at heart. What you speak sould be with pure heart-soul.  There should be true, holy spirit in our act and behaviour. As per Vedic literature there are five winds in our body and we should purify them, then our bodily life and spiritual life can joined the process of moxa. It is said in our Upnishad ‘प्राणं ब्रह्म’. What we speak should be in our heart and mind. If mind, heart and speech working in deliberate differnt way, it drag us to Vikarama is the real massage of this phrase of mantra.      

‘चक्षुस्तेशुन्धामि... cakṣusteśundhāmi’ what you see impact on your speech and spirit is a simple experience of humankind so third phrase is to purify our eyes i.e. our sight. We should always have foresight to see in future to protect us. We should always have foresight for material happiness and thereby in relaxation spiritual awareness. Another meaning is to view & observe lord before sleep and as soon as we awake.  When we see idol of our worshiped lord we should have micro vision or insight to see the virtues and potency power [aura] of god. In the modern era of television-cinema, we should not see such things, serials or episodes that knowingly unknowingly spoil our life and spirit. We always tend to lose our prudence and therefore this kind of mantras are always live to protect us, the only requisite is to have a vision and literature understanding of it. So be always vigilant to yourself and thereby to society as a whole is the massage of this phrase.     

‘श्र्श्रोत्रन्तेशुन्धामि…śrśrotranteśundhāmi’ means to purify our acoustic attribute of material body so that we can hear-learn-visualize far from where we are and can make  join our soul to supreme soul is the real massage. ‘श्रुतं हरति पापानि’ is the phrase means by listening good things our sins are removed means we find our way not to do sins and expiation for what we did. I will put this in support here means by hearing listening to Vedic literature understandings we can develop the process of real learning of spiritual and material awareness of our welfare. We can uplift our standard of living and spirit by listening to this Vedic literature is the massage of this phrase.

‘नाभिन्तेशुन्धामि…nābhinteśundhāmi’ this is very important and its vedic literature meaning is hard to understand but it pointed at yoga maraga [meditation]. Kundlini Yoga is advocated here I think.  Powerfull and qualified guru is required for this so no comments here. The main purpose of this phrase is to protect navel from roundwarms in tropical country like Inida. The navel is mark of detached umbilicus i.e.  the tube that fed us and kept us alive while we were in our mother’s womb. According to Aurveda, the navel is an important site in the human body. Nearly 72,000 subtle nerves or nadis converge in this area.  By the principles of Ayurveda and yoga, either the human body is made up of six chakras, with the Manipura chakra located at the spine directly behind the navel or the solar plexus, depending on the system, while its kshetram, or superficial activation point, is located directly on the navel and represents the element fire. Therefore, its purification is required for moxa marga. According to our Puranas grand lord Shri Brahma is the lord of creation incarnated from the navel of Lord Shri MahaVishnuji which pointing at the creative power of navel. 

‘मेड्ढ्रन्तेशुन्धामि…meḍḍhranteśundhāmi’ means to purify our secret organs in broader sense. Simply we should control our Vikama. We should have a legal consensual sex with one partner to protect our physique from dreadful disease and enhance-develop our metaphysical body for ultimate bliss. It would be apt here to mention the character of Lord Shri Ramji to understand this phrase.  

‘पायुन्तेशुन्धामि... pāyunteśundhāmi’ means to purify our feet-legs. We should go to temple every day to purify legs. The best way to purify our feet is to falling at parent’s feet i.e. to take blessings of our parents & elders. We should always be ready to step forward to take on any works for developments and welfare of society. Lord Shri Ganeshaji does circumambulation of parents lord Shri Shiva-Parvati when asked to do it of earth. This is resembled to incarnation of Shri Vamana of Lord Shri MahaVishnuji where lord take away everything from King Shri Baliji for the welfare and redevelopment of the society in three steps.

‘चरित्रांस्तेशुन्धामि…caritrāṁsteśundhāmi’ we should always ready to purify our character thru which we establish the standard of life like lord Shri Ramji known as marayadapurshottama. When we implement the rest phrases as said above in our life I think our character will automatically be purified.

Sandhi Traya: 
 If guru is in debilitation or occupies one of kuja houses and the child is born in sandhi traya he will die within a month. [Chapter-10; Arist; stanza-40; Sarvarth Chjintamani Khemraj Edition, Mumbai] [Translation of the treaty is given by B S Rao]
 First of all sandhi is 1degree radius of ending and beginning part of rasi and in case of constellation quarter [nakstra pada] it will be 1/9th part of 200 kalas i.e. 22.22 kala radius. Some classic authors take .30 degree as rasi sandi. And I think that is the correct one. The sandhi traya are nakstra sandhi, dasa sandhi and lagna sandhi. Nakstra Sandhi is the juncture of ending part of 4th pada and beginning part of 1st pada and this will automatically cause Rasi Sandhi in the case of Moon. Planet in this nakstra sandi is an arist to that extent. Here also sandhi of nakstra is envisaged for gandat sandhi and if nakstra sandhi is there then dasa sandhi is automatically derived so both nakstra sandhi and dasa sandhi is one condition. This is more apt as nakstra sandhi of gandat is also indicating rashi sandhi of Chandra. Another condition is for lagna sandhi. And third sandhi in my view is surya sandhi. Some take tithi sandhi or day-night sandhi kala. The other condition is guru debilitation or posited in the house of Mars. Ascendant, Moon and Sun are very vital for physical and mental health of the native and any arist may come from these factors if they are melice or in conjuncture. And if guru is also debilitated then it bereft of benefice element and if posited in kuja’s house is not good for long life and will add arist to the above. I am giving the chart of a native who is having all this sandhi and is having guru in mehsa but there is no arist produced. Does this mean that the daivgna Vyanktes talking about all sandhi of gandata? i.e. nakstra gandat, lagna gandat and surya gandat? With guru debilitated or occupied the houses of kuja?

Ascendant conjuncture is to be counted from 290 to 300 and from 0 to 10 as explained by classic texts. Birth star of Moon conjuncture and Dasa sandhi is applicable together if we take sandhi of gandat (janma nakstra) as determined in degree specified above for janma rasi 4-8-12 (29 to 30 degree) and 1-5-9 (0 to 1 degree). This is because nakstra sandhi of gandat is having dasa sandhi as well as rasi sandhi and is one of the arists, a well known factor. Surya Sandhi is the third sandhi to be counted from 290 to 300 and from 0 to 1 as explained by your respected good self. All these three are (Ascendant, Moon and Sun) vital for the native and may impact the longevity and physical and mental health in general. And if all they fall together in any chart it becomes arist and may impact longevity, physical and mental health; provided always that there are other factors to be considered and a prudent approach is a pre requisite. Is my concept right? Please give your insight. As we determined janma nakstra sandhi of gandat in degree in janma rasi from 29 to 30 and from 0 to 1 dasa sandhi of beginning or ending is automatically arrived. Dasa Sandhi and Dasa Chidra are same or not that I don’t know as sifting from last part of ending dasa and beginning part of next dasa may be known as dasa sandhi and/or dasa chhidra. Of course, dasa of chhidra planet generally known as chhidra dasa is different factor and this is more important in arist matters. Is dasa sandhi and dasa chhidra are same? Kindly give your valued insights. Basically, eclipses involved Sun-Moon-Rahu-Ketu and it is treated as transit and result according to rasi-lagna-nakstra is attributed is general is well known. But how we could evaluate this to the dasa and bhukti as is running at the time of eclipses. As we know that sani vart rahu and kuj vart ketu and eclipses may be deemed to add intensity of their adverse result does it indicate calamities in natives life or dehakasta or dehakshya or physical danger like kidnapping, assault, jail boarding etc? When an eclipse involves in it the following factors jointly or severely with dasa-bhukti planets, what are the impacts on native’s life? • Janma Rasi in nakstra sandhi of gandat rasi (4-8-12 and 1-5-9) (eclipses in janma rasi-nakstra) • Lagna sandhi (eclipses in natal 1-7 axis) • Surya Sandhi (eclipses in natal surya rasi or nakstra) • Any sign with multi planets where rahu-ketu are also involved. • Either or Dasa-bhukti is that of rahu or ketu or the planet involved in eclipses. • Either or Dasa-bhukti is that of chhidra or badhaka planet. For rape there are many words in Sanskrit represent the term and give us the simple clue of what can be called rape viz. Balatkaar, Hathasambhog, Pramath, Abhibhav, Strisangraha, Striharan, Kanyaharana, Shilaapharan [molestation] etc. etc. ; these names are enough for us to imagine the range of rape meaning. But for sure rape is an arista [misfortune or ill fate] indeed. We will not go in the word jugglery of rape definition as available in laws of the land and generally circumstantial, instead will concentrate on its obvious meaning and rape word indicated as forceful and unwished sex without proper consent of female [victim].  

There are various forms of rapes and sexual abuses in our society prevailing like repetitive unwished sex, abuse in flesh trade or human trafficking, kidnapping and rapes for money matter, rapes by extended relations or friends or relatives, rapes by threatens, rapes by force by legal partner, sex trade for illicit monies. Moreover, eventual rapes by neighbour, known members, sudden rapes of trespass the privacy while travelling or at home etc. Every kind of these rapes might have different house and planetary etc significations but here we shall deal with the eventual rapes, where few come out in open.  There are too many hard facts and circumstantial considerations connected with rape cases  which never cum out in open or may not be relied in toto and we can not discern those but few which came out openly and confessed in general and culprit accused and punished are taken here.

  

To identify the chart prone to rape correctly and definitely is indeed a very difficult task. As we are also under social obligation for not to make chaos and make the people feared, we have to give prudent guideline for the prone cases; a word of caution may save the victim.

I-             House Signification:

In nutshell, for rape cases afflicted segregation of 4^th house is for distorted satitva-shilatva [self - fidelity]. 7^th is yoni sthana and is for conjugal fidelity disrupted in equality and legality. 8^th is seen for conjugal relation in inequality with force or forgery and intrusion, and lastly 12^th house is seen for conjugal relationship with illegality and unsocial i.e. bed pleasure is shared with others. Their internal relation [by aspect or conjunction or nakstra lord] is required to see adverse results. Moreover, weak Venus or its affliction in addition to this by Rahu [sudden gang attack], Saturn [painful and last long], Mars [violence or military or police], Gulika/Mandi [disgusting, vulgar], Sun [threatening or fear or politician], Ketu  [violence and planned attack] etc prove fatal in female horoscopy for rape and sexual abuse.

8th house sex is different, it’s more complicated and mysterious, the natural secret zodiac sign Scorpio. This is what Indra did to Ahlya, the wife of Gautam Rushi is the first kind of rape [kukarma] mankind experience and Ahalya becomes lifeless and emotionless which according to mythological story becomes stone, signifies the status quo position of the victim.  Here Ahlya was great sati-pativrata and this shilatva is seen by 4^th house so when we see any house wife or daughter is raped prone we have to see the 4^th house at first.

4^th is the house of Satittva [self fidelity] and Kshetra [fertile womb] and 7^th is Shilatva [comjugal fidelity] in female horoscopy and is preserved for proposed husband or the lover or for her own consent to consume. This pious ness cannot be taken away unless and until with the consent or otherwise it will be an abuse in the eye of the law and is a social crime too. 4^th and 7^th house is also important for sex places and implementation pleasure [aanand sayan sukh]. Therefore, malevolence effect in the 4^th – 7^th house and its lords is the first step to look forward for rape or sexual abuse. This is more so as 4^th house represents mob or gang, vehicle and Rahu is karaka of sudden events by this gang or mobs. Weak such lord may be a supportive tool to assess; weak means posited in inimical sign, combust, debilitated, eclipsed and without suffice shadbal etc. 7^th house is 4^th from 4^th and is important for conjugal alliance also. If 7^th house describes sex relationship thru equality and legality, then through 8^th house females suffers sex relationship based on inequality and intrusion; when other with force enter the intimate waters of 8^th house of sex bond, we call these rape or sexual abuses in general. So malevolence to 8^th or its lord is very important to signify the rap prone chart.  So far 12^th house and its lord in female is concerned it is suggested that if malevolence or weak effect is there then pleasure of bed is shared by other woman i.e. her shautan or may be shared her bed with other person with concern and seldom with other factors may conclude rape incident. So while considering 12^th house we have to be very careful.

Weak or afflicted ascendant or its lord is always important for any kind of fatal event in general.

II-           Sign signification

Sign of sexual happiness of natural zodiac is Cancer [sukh rasi], virginity or puberty [shil rasi] is Virgo, and their lords’ Moon and Mercury are important to assess the rape cases. Both the planets are important for nerves-mind control. Malevolence effect to these may cause the chart prone to rape. We will take the virginity in broader sense to include conjugal fidelity consume with consent or otherwise it will fall under rape category or sexual abuse. So, any malevolence effect to these signs and its lords may make the chart prone to rape or abuse.

III-     Planetary Significations

Venus is the core planet if weak and afflicted heavily then the chart will be more prone to sexual abuse and rape. Venus is given importance for its delicacy, bodily fragrance of females, discipline, lovemaking and sexual pleasure, secret connected with sex etc. Planet is said to be weak and afflicted for various causes and depends on the prudent experience of the astrologer. Natural malefic planets are Mars, Sun, Saturn and nodes.

Affliction of Rahu is considered malevolence to cause rapes and 4^th house is seen for gang or mob i.e. gatherings of persons, and Rahu is karaka of sudden event of mobs or gang. In addition, 4^th hosue stands for vehicle so gang rape in moving bus like delhi gang rape is incidental. Mars affliction signifies harm, harassments, slaying etc. Saturn causes old personage and painful and long lasting abuse. Sani-Ketu in 4^th house may signify cemetery like or desolate places. Sun indicates abuses from authority or fatherly figures and this way we can count the causes and places of sexual abuse as indicated in our classical texts and prudence of astrologer. Afflictions from 6-8-12 houses from Venus may also be  considered bad as Venus significations may be distorted by this. Verification of independent navamsa chart may be very helpful in confirming the event. We may assess Vimsottari Dasa also as per astrological acumen. Affliction from Gulika / Mandi may also be looked into for rape case. Gulika/Mandi may be said to represent all that is vulgar, base, sordid and disgusting and therefore, its association with any houses or planet or signs may bring out those qualities in the relationship or situation concerned.

IV-     Nakstra Significations

The most important factor is nakstras of sex and puberty - Punarvasu, Vishakha and Purvabhadrapada [all involves kamatrikona and moxa trikona connected]. This nakstras indication are  Punarvasu [4^th house] pubirty or satitva or shilatva i.e. conjugal-self fidelity, Visakha [7^th house] sex relation of legality and equality and also it indicates [visakha-8^th house of secret] sex by intrusion and force or forgery or unwished sexual encounter if afflicted and Purvabhadrapada [12^th house] if afflicted indicates distorted bed pleasure. Here Jupiter this nakstra lord is the only protecting planet and if it is also afflicted then fatal result may come true. Any affliction in transit to above constellation with this may have to be seen precisely to conclude rape event and professional astrologers can study this separately.

To arrive at some concrete and conclusive conclusions astrologers are humbly requested to check these analogy results of rapes and sexual abuses of female on more and more charts available with them.  It is very easy to do post-mortem but very difficult to predict rape abuse and there is lots to be decipher.
